Parma: The club will give its fans another chance to see Cast Iron plant
Cast Iron Plant will be back in the air on Saturday after an injury-hit pre-season and the Serie A champions are set to give its supporters another chance.
Parma were forced to pull out of the Copa Sudamericana final due to a virus, with Leonardo Rui being sent off for his second yellow card of the season, after an apparent headbutt in the opening game of the campaign.
Rui had earlier been stretchered off with an apparent injury, and the former Napoli defender is now out for a month.
The Italian champions are now hoping for the same from Cast Iron.
“This is not the end, it is only a test for Cast Iron,” team boss Matteo Totti said.
“We must be patient and wait until we know what will happen in the future.”
Radiovac is scheduled to resume on Saturday in Turin, but is likely to be in the hands of an Italian doctor for the first time since being given the green light in April.
“It’s a big step, a big milestone,” Cast Iron president Massimo Castelli said.
“It is a step forward.
It means that Cast Iron will be able to show its full potential for years to come.”
